Building bridges and dialogue through transformative youth programming
The Gesher Association develops educational programs that strengthen Jewish-Israeli identity, promote respectful dialogue, and cultivate social responsibility.
Through seminars, immersive encounters, and summer camps that bring together different sectors of Israeli society, Gesher fosters connection, understanding, and a shared sense of belonging.

Gesher is Israel’s leading organization, with over 50 years of experience, dedicated to fostering meaningful encounters, dialogue, and deep engagement between the diverse groups that make up Israeli society and the Jewish people.
Gesher works with a wide range of audiences, from youth seminars in state and religious education systems, to university programs that promote social change on campus, as well as dedicated initiatives for the security forces and Haredi communities.
Our workshops are delivered through professional group facilitation by highly experienced and carefully trained facilitators, equipped to guide complex and sometimes challenging conversations in a safe and structured environment. The emphasis is on creating a reflective group process through content, shared experience, and active participation.
As part of Gesher’s programs, including the iconic “Gesher Seminar,” the “Israeli Dialogue” project aimed at breaking down stereotypes, and workshops addressing polarization on social media, participants gain practical tools for attentive listening, constructive communication, and embracing diverse perspectives.
Our overarching goal is to strengthen mutual responsibility and cultivate a culture of dialogue in which disagreement does not lead to hostility, but rather to greater respect, trust, and shared living.
