The Gesher Leadership Institute equips senior leaders and influential voices with the tools to strengthen connections across the diverse communities of Israeli society and the Jewish world.

Through its programs, participants gain a deeper understanding of Jewish communities around the globe, engage in meaningful dialogue on Jewish and Israeli identity, and take part in immersive journeys to Jewish communities worldwide.

Supported by a vibrant alumni network, the Institute also partners in large-scale national initiatives, including programs developed in collaboration with Israel’s Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Education. to foster respectful dialogue, bridge divides, and help build a stronger, more cohesive Israeli society.

The Gesher Leadership Institute develops Israeli leaders who are committed to strengthening connections across the diverse communities of Israeli society and the Jewish world.

The Institute brings together senior professionals and influential voices from a wide range of sectors and backgrounds, including Haredi, secular, national religious, and traditional communities. Participants include leaders from government, media, education, civil society, academia, business, and the security establishment, all united by a desire to foster greater understanding and cohesion within the Jewish people.

Through its unique programs, fellows gain a deeper understanding of Jewish communities around the world, engage in respectful dialogue on issues of Jewish and Israeli identity, participate in immersive educational journeys to Jewish communities abroad, and develop the skills needed to lead constructive conversations across lines of difference.

The Institute’s alumni network includes more than 500 influential leaders, among them mayors, media professionals, senior figures in the public and nonprofit sectors, academics, leading educators, and high-ranking military officers. Alumni continue their engagement through ongoing professional development programs, conferences, and learning opportunities focused on social cohesion in Israel and strengthening ties with Jewish communities worldwide.

Alumni initiate and lead impactful projects within their spheres of influence, advancing the Institute’s mission of strengthening relationships between Israel and world Jewry and fostering greater understanding among the diverse sectors of Israeli society.

The Institute also partners in major national initiatives led by its fellows, including the Israel Defense Forces Delegations to World Jewry program, developed in partnership with Israel’s Ministry of Defense, and the International World Zionist Jewish Youth Congress, created in partnership with Israel’s Ministry of Education. These initiatives exemplify the Institute’s commitment to cultivating leadership that creates meaningful change and strengthens the fabric of Jewish life in Israel and around the world.
